Refunds and cancellations

Cancel Swingback Pro whenever you like, from your workspace. If it isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full.

In effect since 21 October 2026.

Who these terms are for#

Swingback is sold to businesses and professionals, for their work. These terms cover the subscription to the Pro plan, paid through Stripe. The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. Nothing here takes away a right that the law gives you.

Prices and renewals#

  • Pro costs $20 a month, or $216 a year, paid in advance in US dollars through Stripe. Any tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • A subscription renews by itself at the end of each month or year, at the same price, until you cancel it.
  • If Pro's price changes, we email the workspace's owners at least 30 days before the new price applies to their next renewal, so that they can cancel before it does.
  • Stripe emails a receipt for every payment, and a reminder before each yearly renewal. Invoices and receipts are also in Stripe's billing portal: Settings → Billing → Manage billing.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.

Cancel a subscription#

  1. Open your workspace's Settings → Billing. Only its owners see the subscription.
  2. Choose Manage billing: Stripe's billing portal opens.
  3. Cancel the subscription there.

The subscription stops renewing, and Stripe confirms the cancellation by email. Pro stays until the end of the month or year you've paid for, and the workspace moves to the Free plan then. Until that day, you can take the cancellation back in the same portal.

Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription the same way. It ends with its period, or at the latest when the workspace is erased, 30 days after its deletion.

If you can't reach the billing portal, write to support@swingback.dev from the address of one of the workspace's owners, and we cancel it for you.

What changes on the Free plan#

Nothing is deleted, and nothing private is made public.

  • API keys and the MCP server stop answering. The keys aren't deleted, and work again if you upgrade.
  • The AI works within the Free plan's monthly limits: 50 posts and comments read, and 5 drafts. If this month's use is already beyond them, it waits for the next month.
  • The portal shows “Powered by Swingback” again.
  • Private boards stay private, and a custom domain keeps serving. Members, boards and integrations beyond the Free plan's limits stay too, but you can't add more until you upgrade.

Refunds#

  • Within 14 days of a subscription's first payment, or of a yearly renewal, write to us and we refund that payment in full. The subscription ends when we refund it, and the workspace moves to the Free plan.
  • Monthly renewals aren't refunded, and neither is the rest of a period after you cancel: Pro stays until the period ends.
  • A mistake on our side, such as a duplicate payment or a charge after you cancelled, is refunded whenever you tell us.

A refund goes back to the card or account you paid with, through Stripe. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.

To ask for one, write to support@swingback.dev with your workspace's name and the date of the payment.

Failed payments#

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days, and the workspace keeps Pro meanwhile. If every try fails, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the Free plan. You can subscribe again whenever you like.

Switch between monthly and yearly#

Write to us, and we switch your subscription when its current period ends, so that you never pay twice for the same days.

A question about a charge#

If a charge looks wrong, please write to us before you dispute it with your bank: we'll sort it out with you, and a refund reaches you sooner than a dispute does.

Who we are#

Swingback is run by Elie Baier, Rue de la Paix 19, 1020 Renens, Switzerland. Write to support@swingback.dev about anything on this page.

Changes to these terms#

If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with its date. A change applies to payments made after it is published, never to one you've already made.
