Swingback vs UserJot

UserJot shows its branding until Professional, $59 a month. Swingback Pro includes your domain, no branding, the API and the MCP server.

UserJot's prices and features as its own pages showed them on October 21, 2026.

Why teams choose Swingback over UserJot

  • 01

Your brand, without the top plan

UserJot keeps “Powered by UserJot” on your board and widget until Professional, $59 a month ($49 billed yearly). Swingback Pro removes our name and puts your portal on your domain.

  • 02

Webhooks and chat on the free plan

UserJot lists no webhooks, its Free plan has no integrations, and Starter has one. Swingback's webhooks come with every plan, and Free connects one integration: Slack, Discord, GitHub or Linear.

  • 03

Signed-in users on the free plan

UserJot's widget takes your user's ID on Free, but requiring a signed token, and arriving on the board signed in, start on Starter with automatic login; its single sign-on is on Professional. On Swingback Free, your server signs a token for your user, or the portal sends people through your own sign-in page.

  • 04

Guests and moderation on every plan

UserJot's guest posting and its approval queue start on Starter; on Free, only its spam and abuse check holds a post back. Swingback takes guests behind a captcha and holds what they write for your review, Free included.

Migration

Move from UserJot to Swingback

Bring your feedback with you, then switch when you're ready.
  1. Step 1

    Export from UserJot

    • UserJot exports posts as CSV on every plan, its comparison pages say. Its help center doesn't say where the export is, nor what the file's columns are.
    • Votes, comments and users come through UserJot's REST API (Starter and up): https://api.userjot.com/v1, with a token from Settings, API Tokens. It lists requests with their votes and comments, members, companies, boards, tags and the changelog.
  2. Step 2

    Import into Swingback

Upload each CSV file, and match its columns to the fields: the importer suggests the matches, and you check them.

Every import starts with a dry run that shows what it will create. Boards, statuses and tags map to yours, and running it again adds only what's new: import once to try, and again on the day you switch.

  3. Step 3

    Switch over

Replace UserJot's widget with Swingback's, and move your feedback domain to your portal (a custom domain is on Pro).

Then announce the move in your first changelog entry, so your customers know where to find you.
