Why teams choose Swingback over Sleekplan
- 01
A free plan for a team
Sleekplan's free Indie plan is a single-admin workspace without a roadmap. Swingback Free includes three team members, three boards and the public roadmap.
- 02
Your domain and brand for less
Sleekplan's custom domain and branding removal start on Business, $45 a month ($38 billed yearly). Swingback Pro includes both, with the API and the MCP server.
- 03
AI and webhooks on the free plan
Sleekplan's free plan has no AI credits, and its API and webhooks start on Starter. Swingback Free includes AI on 50 posts and comments a month, and webhooks.
- 04
Webhooks you can verify
Sleekplan's webhooks aren't signed, and a failed delivery isn't retried; its docs suggest a secret in the URL. Swingback signs every delivery with the Standard Webhooks scheme, and retries failed ones for days.

Migration
Move from Sleekplan to Swingback
- Step 1
Export from Sleekplan
- In Sleekplan, open Settings, then Export (owners and admins), and export each dataset: feedback posts (extended), comments, votes, changelog updates and user accounts.
- Each export is a CSV of up to 5,000 rows, newest first, sent by email and kept under Recent exports for 14 days. For more rows, use the API.
- On Starter and up, the REST API (https://api.sleekplan.com/v1, with a key from Settings, Developer) lists posts, each post's votes and comments, users and changelog updates.
- Step 2
Import into Swingback
Upload each CSV file, and match its columns to the fields: the importer suggests the matches, and you check them.
Every import starts with a dry run that shows what it will create. Boards, statuses and tags map to yours, and running it again adds only what's new: import once to try, and again on the day you switch.
- Step 3
Switch over
Replace Sleekplan's widget with Swingback's, and move your feedback domain to your portal (a custom domain is on Pro).
Then announce the move in your first changelog entry, so your customers know where to find you.

About this comparison
Everything said here about Sleekplan comes from its own website, as it was on October 21, 2026. Prices and plans change: check Sleekplan's pages before you decide.
Sleekplan's help pages put a few features on every paid plan, or every plan (custom domain, Slack), where its pricing table names a plan. This page follows the pricing table.
Sleekplan's billing page lists private boards with the Business plan, where its pricing table has them from Starter. This page follows the pricing table there too.
Sleekplan's home page speaks of feedback boards, but its help center gives a workspace one board, sorted by categories, and each product its own workspace, billed on its own (its importer turns each Canny or Upvoty board into a category). This page follows the help center.
